Making A Purchase
From the home page click on a product category, special offer or onto "Shop" button. You can also find products using the search box. Once in the catalogue navigate to your chosen item. By clicking on it you can see detailed information about the product. To buy a product click on the "Add To Basket" button. A new page will ask you to confirm the product, after which you can go to checkout, continue shopping or cancel. You can check and edit the contents of your shopping basket at any time by clicking the "Basket". When you have found all the items you require, click on "Checkout" to make your purchase. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the order process. Your order will not be processed until you enter your payment details and press the final submit button. On doing so, you will receive an e-mail confirmation.
Shipping And Handling
On orders shipped to a UK address the postage and packing charge is £2.50 for orders under £20 and £3.99 for orders above £20. These orders will be sent by First Class Post or courier service, at our discretion.
Free Delivery on orders over £45.00.
If your order is urgent please phone us on 01803 866981 and we may be able to arrange your order to be sent with Next Day Delivery Service at an additional cost. Please note that Next Day Delivery is a signed for service, you will need to ensure that someone is available to sign for the delivery.
There may be additional postage and packing charges on some heavy or large items. If this is the case, we will contact you with the choice to pay the additional charges or cancel the order.
Standard postage and packing charge is £8.50 for orders up to £70.00 and £12.50 for orders up to £200. For orders above £200 there is an incremental charge of £0.10 for every extra £1. There may be additional postage and packing charges on some heavy or large items. If this is the case, we will contact you with the choice to pay the additional charges or cancel the order.
For orders shipped to the rest of the world, the standard postage and packing charge is £19.50 for orders up to £50.00 and £24.50 for orders up to £200. Please note that on orders outside the EU if you wish to exchange a product you will need to cover the return postage as well as the postage cost of sending the replacement item(s).
We aim to dispatch orders received by 13:00 on the same day and we aim to dispatch orders placed after 13:00 on the next working day. Should an item be out of stock we will always contact you with the estimated delivery date and the option to amend or cancel your order.
Our stock control system is not live, which means it can very occasionally happen that even though an item is shown in stock, we do not actually have it in stock. Should this happen, we will always contact you with the estimated delivery date and the option to amend or cancel your order.
Although orders are usually delivered much faster, please allow 15 working days for Standard UK service, 20 working days for Standard EUROPE service and 25 working days for INTERNATIONAL deliveries.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the estimated delivery date and the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
All prices on the website include VAT at 20% (or the current UK VAT rate). Orders shipped outside the EU are exempt from VAT, and in these cases VAT will be deducted from your order manually at the time of order processing.

Returning for a refund -
By law, you can return any item ordered by mail order within 14 days of receipt for any reason. If you would like to return an item for a refund, please email email@example.com within 14 days of receipt of goods to obtain a returns number, which must be included with the item. When returning items, please obtain proof of postage. Unless the items are faulty all returns are at the customer's cost. Items to be returned must be unused, undamaged and in the original packaging.
For orders placed for delivery to the UK or EU, if you change your mind about your purchase within the 14 day period we will refund the cost of the item and the original delivery cost as follows:
-If the item was part of a larger order, there will be no delivery charge refund.
-We will refund standard delivery charges only, not additional delivery charges for guaranteed special delivery.
Exchanging items -
We are extending our exchange period for Christmas gifts purchased after 1st November. To exchange an item, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org by 5th January 2017.
We offer to exchange goods within 30 days of receipt. If you would like to exchange an item, please email email@example.com within 30 days of receipt of goods to obtain a returns number, which must be included with the item. When returning items please obtain proof of postage. Unless the items are faulty all returns are at the customers cost. Items to be returned must be unused, and undamaged and in the original packaging.
Faulty items - If the item you would like to return is faulty or the item you received is incorrect, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact you about how to return the item. The above does not affect you statutory rights.
If an item is returned to us by the delivery company due to incorrect delivery address provided on the order, or if the parcel is rejected or not called for by the recipient and the parcel is returned to Salago by the delivery company, the original postage charge will not be refunded.
Totnes Shop Loyalty Card
Collect 9 stamps to qualify for a 50% discount reward. Each time you spend £25 or more you get a stamp. Once you have collected 9 stamps, you get 50% discount off one fully priced item of up to the value of £200. Loyalty card scheme is only available in the Totnes shop.
When purchasing an item that is eligible for a free gift reward, and the item is subsequently returned for a refund, the free gift reward either has to be returned too, or if kept, their full price will be deducted from the refund amount.
