This very old game has entertained children for decades. Originally played using lengths of straw that were gathered together and then allowed to fall onto a heap, and then the skill was to remove pieces of straw one at a time without any other straw moving. The game has developed over the years but this version from the 1950s perhaps has the most nostalgic appeal of all of them.
